Products covered: Sanitary installations ( ICS : 91.140.70) This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 223 /2021 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 1190 " WC And Urinal Flushing Cisterns " (46 pages, in Arabic). It should be noted that Ministerial Decree No. 423/2005 (25 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/3 dated 14 December 2005 mandated among others the earlier version of this Egyptian standard. Worth mentioning is that this standard is technically identical with EN 14055:2018. Producers and importers are kept informed of any amendments in the Egyptian standards through the publication of administrative orders in the official gazette. Proposed date of adoption: 20 May 2021. The regulations prohibit the use of microbeads as an ingredient in the manufacture of rinse-off personal care products and the sale of any such products containing microbeads. In the regulation ‘microbead’ means any water-insoluble solid plastic particle of less than or equal to 5mm in any dimension and ‘rinse-off personal care product’ means any substance, or mixture of substances, manufactured for the purpose of being applied to any relevant human body part in the course of any personal care treatment, by an application which entails at its completion the prompt and specific removal of the product (or any residue of the product) by washing or rinsing with water, rather than leaving it to wear off or wash off, or be absorbed or shed, in the course of time.

TITLE: Conforming Changes to Canada-Specific Hazardous Waste Import-Export Recovery and Disposal Operation Codes AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ACTION: Final rule SUMMARY: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or the Agency) is making conforming changes to regulations related to twelve hazardous waste import-export recovery and disposal operations used in hazardous waste export and import notices submitted to EPA by U.S. exporters and importers, and in movement documents that accompany export and import shipments. The changes to regulations related to these twelve recovery and disposal operations are needed to reflect changes to regulations related to Canadian import-export recovery and disposal operations that Canada promulgated in the Canada Gazette Part II on 17 March 2021 and that become effective in Canada on 31 October 2021. Additionally, as the changes in today's rule are being made solely to conform to Canada's regulatory changes to Canada-specific operation codes and descriptions, this is a final rulemaking and no public comment is being solicited. DATES: This rule is effective on 31 October 2021. This final rule and previous actions notified under the symbol G/TBT/N/USA/1044 are identified by Docket Number EPA-HQ-RCRA-2015-0147. Worth mentioning is that this standard complies with EN 12983-1/2000 +A1/2004.
