The notification G/SPS/N/CHN/1323, circulated on 7 January 2025, was formally approved on 22 September 2025 as the “Announcement on Phytosanitary Requirements for Imported Plant-Derived Fertilizers (GACC (2025) No. 185)”. The measure will enter into force on 30 March 2026. Countries or regions that may be affected are those exporting plant-derived fertilizers to China.
