This ministerial notification amends the list of hazardous substances annexed to the Notification of Ministry of Industry Regarding List of Hazardous Substances dated 17 February B.E. 2538(1995). Certain hazardous substances are withdrawn as follows: 1. 3 Hazardous substances under the responsibilities of the Department of Agriculture, i.e. - AMITROLE - CHLOROBENZILATE - LINDANE (>99% gamma-HCH or gamma-BHC) 2. 3 Hazardous substances under the responsibilities of the Department of Industrial Works, i.e. - ASBESTOS-AMOSITE - DI (PHENYLMERCURY) DODECENL-3-SUCCINATE - PENTACHLOROPHENATE SODIUM 3. 4 Hazardous substances under the responsibilities of the Department of Public Works, i.e. - GASOLINE - KEROSENE - FUEL OIL FOR JET ENGINES - DIESEL OIL 4. o-DICHLOROBENZENE under the responsibility of the Food and Drug Administration. In addition, hazardous substances in the list annexed to this ministerial notification will be hazardous substances in List A annexed to the Notification of Ministry of Industry Regarding List of Hazardous Substances B.E.2538(1995) in an alphabetical order.

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) has proposed to enforce TIS 2060-2543(2000) as a compulsory standard. The standard covers hot-rolled carbon steel coil strip plate and sheet to be used for welded gas cylinders with a capacity of not exceeding 500 litres in which contain high pressure gases, such as LP gas, acetylene and various kinds of freon gas. Classifies the products into three grades. Specifies mass, dimensions and tolerances, permissible variations, chemical composition, appearance, mechanical properties, e.g. tensile strength, elongation and bendability. Includes marking and labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity and testing.

SAPH 400 and SAPH 440. Specifies mass, dimensions and tolerances, permissible variations, chemical composition, appearance, mechanical properties, e.g. tensile strength, elongation and bendability. Includes marking and labelling, sampling and criteria for conformity and testing.
